Short audio stories, made for the car or for work.
A radio show written as you listen.
NewsBot Radio turns public news on the web and public posts on X into short spoken stories. Two hosts, Ara and Leo, read them. You can put it on while you drive, or while you work.
The hosts and the scripts are AI-generated. Ara and Leo are not people. A model writes what they say, and a voice reads it. The show can be wrong, incomplete, or behind the news. It is a radio briefing, not a wire service and not a person in a studio.
When a post is used, the show names its author and says it was posted on X. A post is that person’s opinion. It is not treated as the record of what happened.
What you hear
A story is a short conversation. One host gives the reported fact. The other asks a follow-up, adds context, or marks where accounts disagree. Between stories you hear a short piece of original instrumental music, written in the app, so the show does not go silent while the next story is prepared.
The app speaks English and Dutch. On the iPhone, Ara and Leo use Apple’s voices. A Premium or Enhanced voice sounds more natural. You download those in the iPhone’s accessibility settings. Sending speech to xAI is optional and off unless you turn it on.

Your key, on your phone
A live show made on the phone uses an xAI API key that you paste yourself. The key stays in the iPhone Keychain. The app has no account. Test mode can replay a show already saved on the phone without calling xAI. Details are on the support page.
